The 2.0 litre 103TDI with common rail turbo diesel engine and diesel particulate filter offers fluency, pulling power and economy in equal measure. Its capabilities extend to an impressive 103kW of power and 320Nm of torque from only 1,750rpm and remarkable fuel economy. The 2.0 litre 147TSI engine with direct petrol injection, 147kW of pure power and 280Nm of torque is also exceptionally economical with a dynamic development of thrust resulting in terrific acceleration (0 to 100km/h in 7.8 seconds). |
For added performance and choice, both the Eos 103TDI and the 147TSI are available with your choice of 6 speed manual or 6 speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmissions for superb handling and seamless gear changes. Hill Start Assist (HSA) is now fitted as standard for all vehicles equipped with DSG. Hill Start Assist (HSA) holds the vehicle stationary for 1.5 seconds on hills with an incline greater than 5 degrees, when the foot brake is released by temporarily locking the brake pressure. |
